I always believed in the Universe and The Secret, but in some areas of my life, I was unable to get what I always wanted. However, I knew that it was my fault because I was not letting go of what I wanted, I could feel the desperation. So I searched The Secret success stories here for the topic of “Letting Go.” I read a couple of stories and really understood what I had to do. I just had to imagine, say thank you, and then leave it to the Universe to get a magnificent outcome.

So I decided that I wanted to test it out on something simple and to apply this way of “letting it go”. Yesterday was my best friend’s birthday bash and was also a farewell too. She is going to the USA in 12 days. My friends planned on staying at her house, but my parents never allow me to stay at someone else’s house. and they also have time limits when I go to parties. However, my friend said that I had to come to the party anyway.

So this was also while I had been reading The Secret success stories here about letting it go, so decided to apply it. I imagined being at her house late at night, talking and watching movies. I felt a lot of gratitude and believed it was going to happen and then I forgot about it. Now, my friend’s house was far away from mine so my dad would not allow me to go alone. I got home from college and talked to my dad about it. He knew it was going to be late and it would be risky too because I only know how to drive our vehicle. I told him that I did not have any issues but when he had to pick me up it would be very late. Then he said, “OK, okay stay at her house for the night.” I was like, what! When! How? I was so happy and called my friend and she was happy too! She told me that I had made her day today! I know that he would never allow me to do something like this but I believed it and let it go, and it happened! It was my first ever, night in!

Thank you, thank you, thank you!! Now that I know how it works, soon I will be giving my exam and I will be receiving my desired marks. I will be returning here soon with that story.
