Nepal, KathmanduI am a teacher and also a student recently studying in an Animation course from Maya Animation Academy.
I am very thankful to share my story with you all. Just remembering that magical day, I felt very happy and blessed to get the opportunity to watch the breathtaking movie “The Secret“. It changed my life and my way of thinking. I am truly grateful to my best friend Aksher who shared The Secret movie with me. Ever since then, magic began to take place in my life.
This is one of my favorite experiences that I would like to share with you all. One day I was out with my loved one and her sister, shopping to buy new clothes for the wedding of a close relative. After shopping, they told me that they wanted to take a rest and have lunch.
Meanwhile, I didn’t have a single coin in my pocket. They took me with them in such a rush that I had not taken any money at all. While we were on the way, I was thinking about how to manage my money situation to pay for lunch. I just kept on asking myself how to manage the money.
Then suddenly, I diverted my mind from the “how”, to all the money that I used to have and that I have used to fulfill all my desires. Then I started feeling thankful for all that money that I had been given. I kept on thinking, thank you, thank you, thank you, for all the money that has been given to me in my life.
As we were walking on the road to get lunch I was still feeling thankful for the money I had been given in my past and forgetting that I didn’t have money in my pocket right now. That was when I caught sight of something, like a piece of paper on the side of a burger stall. I went there and picked it up without looking at it at all and then went on. After walking a little more I checked that paper and guess what?!
It was a 1,000 rupees note!! Thank you, thank you, thank you!
I was very surprised and felt so happy! That entire time I had just thought about the desire to have money to pay for lunch. I didn’t know “how” I would get it but the answer to “how” was given to me in such a way that helped me to manage the money situation.
Then, we had our lunch and I told them what was going on in my mind when we were walking. They were also surprised when I told them about it. I shared my happiness with my mother by taking lunch with that money too and I also told her about the entire experience.
So in the end, I want to add one thing which is that ‘The Secret’ is working in every way. It works in such a way that
when you want something and you really believe it and are grateful, you will have it, and that is for sure.
