I found The Secret in July 2008. I 1st read the book, “How to heal your life.” By Louise Hay. I started doing affirmations to heal my life and let go of pain of the past. I was excited. I was committed to this every day.

Then I found The Secret. I watched it, I read it, I watched positive affirmations on You Tube. I woke up in the morning feeling grateful. I had a routine. I listened to an inspiring song every morning when I woke up. I started writing down how I wanted to feel and what I wanted. I wrote down I travel the world, I wrote down I got a raise today, I go to Vegas often, I forgive and my enemies forgive me, and I live in a cute 1 bedroom house.

In less than one month I had one affirmation come true. But of course, the emotional healings happened 1st, and I still working on that. I went to Palm Springs with a friend. We went out dancing and I met Pete, who is from the UK. We kept in touch and became great friends. Weeks later he asks if I want to come see him all expenses paid IN VEGAS. He was working there for 8 months. I went and we had a great time.

Then I got on the plane to leave and he handed me an envelope and asked me not to open it until I get on the plane. So I did, and there was another ticket to come back the next weekend. So I went again. We became such good friends and then he invited me to come to the UK for Christmas. I was so excited. He paid for the whole thing. I had a great time and I seen the Nottingham castle and where Robin Hood walked.

At work, my boss thanked me every day. I was treated well. I got 3 raises in a year. WOW! I went from $12 an hour to $20 an hour. Then I went to look at a 1 bedroom house. This house was amazing. It was luxurious, granite everywhere, lighting form Italy. I go look at it and I leave and call the Realtor. I asked where I fill out the application. The Realtor says, “It’s yours, you don’t have to fill one out, the owners like you and want you to move in.” OMG!

Then I write down my daughter and X-step daughter made up today. I wrote this for a year, and 2 months ago, they made up. I wrote down that my other daughter, Hannah, called me today. I haven’t seen her in 3 yrs. She contacted me on Myspace.

I started teaching The Secret to young women, my daughter’s girlfriends. They came over for meetings. I am teaching The Secret to young people, teaching them how to change their life. I have met people and re-connected with people who do The Secret. Old high school friends have contacted me and they do The Secret. I am attracting people who believe just like I do. My next goal is to take The Secret to the homeless. While I serve dinner, I hand out The Secret to read and tell them they can change their circumstances. WOW! I believe my gift of forgiveness has helped me too. I tell everyone you cannot do this unless you forgive yourself and others. You have to be grateful for what you have now. You have to set your mind to think what you want and not what you don’t want.
