I grew up in the township of Windhoek, Namibia where I encountered a lot of challenges but I always dreamed of moving out. I studied hard to get an Honors degree in 2018, and on my first internship interview attempt, I was accepted for the job. It has been 5 years now since I have been applying for permanent employment at different organizations but with no success.

At the beginning of 2022, I was introduced to The Secret Super App by a colleague of mine. The information in the app advised me to write down and feel grateful for all the things I wanted to happen this year. I wrote that I wanted a permanent job, I wanted to move out of the township. I wanted a baby, to fix my car, and for my business to make a $100k profit. In the first 6 months, everything was going south to the point that my bank account almost came to zero and I almost gave up.

In the second 6 months of 2022, things changed when I secured a $25k tender for my business. I grew that $25k to $100k in 3 months! Then after that, my girlfriend announced that we were expecting a baby, and I could hardly even believe it! In September my work contract ended and I was struggling to get business deals. I was like, not this again! So I started to focus on manifesting a permanent job again. Then last month I got an interview for a permanent job. It went really well and on the first of November, I was called by the company and I was told that I was the chosen, successful candidate! Thank you, thank you, thank you!
