USAOriginally from India and moved to the United States last year.
First of all, I would like to thank you all for posting such beautiful stories. They motivated and inspired me a lot during low days.
I was introduced to The Secret by my cousin. Even though after reading it and a part of me believed it, I never really tried to actually use it until later.
Fast forward. I got married and moved to the United States. I have an amazing husband and the best of family members. I was a dentist in India and decided to pursue dentistry in the States so for that I had to give 2 national board exams. I would write my results before appearing for the tests and I cleared both the exams on my first attempt with studying and believing that I could clear them. After my exams, I used to ask for a sign from the Universe to find out if things went well.
My biggest dream was to get into a dental school in my first attempt at applying. When I started applying to schools, I did not get selected for the first 2 schools that I applied to. And one of the reasons for that was that I never believed that I would get in. That was because to get into one of these schools is highly competitive and I did not think I had enough experience. However, all I did know was that I wanted to get into dental school for the year 2020. I slowly started believing that all I currently had was enough to get into dental school. I would picture getting an email for the interview and then getting my acceptance letter from the school. I would picture myself going to dental school. I would even picture my graduation day where my family would be there. Eventually, I let go as I knew that things would work out.
One morning I did get an email from a school for the interview and after the interview, I had a bench test. I would imagine every day, how it would feel to get accepted. I used to get emotional thinking about it and how proud my parents and husband would be.
And yes!!! You guessed it right! I did end up getting admission to dental school and my college started in August of 2020! I was on top of the world and there are still absolutely no words to describe my happiness.
Thank you, thank you, thank you Universe! Thank you for fulfilling all my dreams.
All I want to say is to please stay positive and believe in you and your dreams. You have everything you need to fulfill your goal.
