Believe! Believe!! Believe!!!
Here’s my tryst with The Secret.
I graduated out of an engineering college as a software engineer in IT. That was at the point of time when recession struck and took multi-billion empires down with it. Although I was one of the best students of my batch when it came to technical knowledge, some negativity had crept in me and I used to think that I was unlucky having graduated at the time when my sector was officially worst-hit. At that point of time, I did not know about The Secret. Although my very close college friend had recommended it to me (Gosh! Now I know The Secret of his energy and multi-talented personality), but I never could lay my hands on the book, or the movie for that matter.
Since I passed out of college, it was almost six months and still no job (I guess I had unknowingly manifested the ‘unlucky’ part through The Secret). My father was pushing me to give bank entrances where I would at least have job security and sufficient salary, but I had no interest in working for a bank.
It was then that I landed my hands on The Secret (I was visiting my uncle and saw it in my cousin’s bookshelf). I felt like it was pulling me towards itself and telling me to read it. So I got started with it.
I slowly tried to understand and manifest the concepts (even though they were not totally new to me, being a Hindu I’ve read a lot of literature and scriptures that point to concepts of The Secret, but the only thing I was lacking all the while was the TOTAL belief in the power of The Secret). And then it happened… after reading and revising parts of the book, I decided to manifest it into my life.
Things started happening. Small changes occurred in my life by my command, which almost never had happened before. I could now summon an empty seat on public transport, and if no seat would be empty, the seat nearest to me would get empty pretty soon. I used to command electricity supply to resume if I was working on something important on my laptop. These things happened within 5 minutes, at max. But yet I had not progressed on the job front.
Then I moved to Bangalore in search of better opportunities with my friends, who were already working with a MNC. After wandering for a couple of days without any improvement in the situation, I recalled the fact which I had read that there are two ways of achieving anything – competitive and creative. Having realized that the first one was much harder and less paying, I decided to opt for the second one. That was when I realized that although I had been worrying about the job situation, I had never actually asked the Universe to give it to me. That very instant I thanked God for landing me a great job with a high salary in a great company, pictured myself wearing the formal suits, working in the company, undergoing training, et al. In the meantime I posted my resume for the job that I wanted.
Now this part might sound crazy, but I have so strong a belief in The Secret that I have written the whole story even before the job has manifested itself. I will post it on the day I get the job. And did I mention that I am being paid almost twice as much compared to some of my friends?
**the above part of the story was written in advance… this addition is being made after I have returned from the interview, and this is the first thing I am doing instantly after reaching home**
I got through all the five rounds of the selection process and they have told me that I will be joining them on the 25th of January. The final mail will reach me on Monday. The company has an awesome work culture – exactly as I dreamt about.
Addition: I was having an intuition about something nice happening in addition to the new job… here it is! I met a girl there in the company itself (she was a friend of my friend) and I am looking forward to some chemistry between the two of us…
The Secret works! Every single time! Just believe in it strongly and order the Universe to give you whatever you want, and feel that you have received it. Thank God for it! It will happen for sure. If there was even half-a-percent of skepticism in me before this incident; it’s all gone already, and I am looking forward to a wonderful and miraculous future.
I just would like to quote the last dialogue of ‘Bruce Almighty’ here (it’s always inspired me a little) – “Be The Miracle!”
Thank you for The Secret, Rhonda! Thank you God!!
