I was a banker by profession but soon I started losing interest in the job I was doing. It was because I felt my hard work was not really appreciated and the job was left with only doing things for the sake of doing them, with pretty much no motivation and very little remuneration. Soon, going to the office became a torture to me and I desperately wanted a new job. A job where I could earn better, where my job would be appreciated, where I would feel proud of working. Day and night all I did was to pray for a new job.

With the grace of God it happened. I was very happy in my new job, which was not at a bank but at Ingo. That was something I applied for 3 months before I got an interview call. With very tight competition I got the job despite having no Ingo background or experience at all. All this was possible because I prayed and believed what I asked for was what I was going to get.

The story does not end there. The position was just an entry level position, where as before, I was incharge at my previous job with the bank. After a year, I started applying for a better position within the organization. I liked where I worked but I needed a better position to show I could do much more than what I was entitled to do in the current job. I started praying again, I kept applying for positions. And then miraculously, I got a better position with higher salary and an office in the same organization. This was more miraculous because the offer for the better position came when it was not expected at all. I was interviewed for a position but was offered some other position, an even better one! I kept praying for at least 3 months and it happened when I just stopped being more concerned about getting the new position and just left everything to the universe, with a believe that it will gift me what I want. I still am very very surprised about how unexpected the offer was.

I first read The Secret in 2007 and ever since it has always proved to me what it claims, “Your thoughts are your power”. I have experienced a lot more than what I have shared here. I just did not publish it until now. I can not thank the universe enough for what it has offered me. I am super happy now, and my job is going so well, I have an awesomely nice supervisor.
