First of all, let me say that this story is not about me but about the teachings of The Secret and not giving up. I have only been applying The Secret and the law of attraction for a few days. Today was a rough day and I could feel the negative energy trying to worm its way into my life. The bad thoughts were just crashing into me. So while I was driving to work, I decided to listen to the radio, and I heard a story about a 5-year-old child.

The child had written on a  balloon, “I want a pony for my 6th birthday” and she then released the balloon into the air. The balloon then winds up landing 50 miles away at a horse ranch. The owners of the ranch were so impressed with her that they found out who she was and actually gave her a pony! Although it stayed on the ranch property, the little girl was welcome to come and feed the horse and ride it whenever she wanted to. They also let the child name the pony.

After I finished listening to that story, I felt so much better! I turned around and said to my husband, “You see? She used the law of attraction. She put it out there and the Universe heard her and gave her what she asked for.”

I became interested in The Secret because I found myself at an all-time low when everything in my life that could go wrong, did. I was always angry and on the defense and I didn’t know how I was going to get myself out of it until I listened to The Secret on audio. I’ve only been doing this a little while but I already feel the change in myself. I’m calmer and less angry every day. More positive things keep coming my way. There are no words to describe the peace I am feeling. Thank you!
