Being an amputee
Submitted by: Jessica M.
Charlotte, NCI am an amputee and have spent majority of my life saying that I did not deserve what life had given me. I have had quite a time dealing with this.
As an amputee since I was four years old, I have spent most of my life saying, “Why me?” Every day, I woke up thinking over and over that I did not deserve this in my life. After watching The Secret and buying the book, it hit me like a ton of bricks. I am so blessed to have overcome so much. I have so much insight to offer others after all that I’ve been through. Me being an amputee can be a blessing! I love myself. That’s the beauty in this whole thing . . .I do deserve this! I deserve to be proud . .to be an inspiration to others and myself and THAT is priceless!
