I recently moved offices and immediately made friends with a wonderful lady whom I have so much in common with.

On lunchtime, she took me to see her friend who is a psychic. On the way over my friend told me about a book I should read called The Secret.

During the reading, the psychic said there was a book I should read, The Secret!

A few weeks later I visited my youngest daughter in Yorkshire who had just had a baby. My eldest was there and in conversation she said she was a reading a book which was changing her life and that I should read it.

The name of the book?

The Secret!

I have suffered from a frozen shoulder for a long time and no amount of painkillers, injections or physiotherapy had provided any long term relief. After feeling let down by the medical profession I finally booked a GP appointment requesting a referral to a specialist.

I had specifically booked with a particular GP who I felt would be sympathetic and agree to refer me on.

The day of the appointment I was at work. My friend said she had been looking for her copy of The Secret for days as she wanted to lend it to me but couldn’t find it anywhere. Her daughter then asked if she could borrow a handbag which my friend had not used for some time and before she handed it over, she checked inside and there was the book!! She duly handed it to me that day and I left work that afternoon for my GP appointment with book in hand.

As I sat in the waiting room I began reading and thoughts chased through my mind. Would I be listened to? Would I get what I wanted? The more I read, the more positive my thoughts became.

Then, the doctor I had seen me previously, who I had chosen not to see as he was unsympathetic at the last visit, approached me to say my original GP was running late. Therefore, would I like to see him instead?

I agreed as I knew then that I was certain in my intentions. I knew what I needed and I would get it and indeed I did! I am now being referred to a team of spinal surgeons and for an MRI.

This is very early days for me. I am only half way through the book. I also have the audio for driving, however I totally trust that this will be a life changing event and it may have taken 50 years to get here but here is where I want to be!
