I have always read stories on this site and I am always am getting more and more inspired by the content that is provided. I would like to Rhonda Byrne and The Secret team for allowing not only me, but the whole world to know about such great power.

So I wasn’t really introduced to The Secret, my cousin who was in depression and eventually passed on, read The Secret and after his passing I heard his mother and sister speak of the book. I think I really wanted to read the book in order to feel somewhat closer to him. So it always was in the back of my mind that I need to find this book and read it. I think maybe two years later when I was in India,I found the book. I remember being so excited. I finished the book in two days and made my mom read it straight after. The Secret was my stepping stone to finding a very spiritual path and I’m so grateful that I was guided by my departed loved ones.

Recently about six months ago I lost the love of my life, my dog. He was sick and old and it was his time. I’ve accepted his passing but I really missed the company of a dog and the joy and the pure love they give you. My whole family was against getting another dog because we were all really heart sore because of losing our dog of 15 years.

In the month of February I decided I needed to get my life in order so I did The Magic practices. Everything was beautiful. I noticed all the little things and felt amazing. Life was truly magical. One day I was in class and I was free for a lesson so I put my head down and visualised this beautiful labrador puppy playing with me outside in my yard. I held on to that feeling.

By then I was watching The Secret movie every day and reading parts of the book when I had a chance to.  In the movie they talk about having an inspired thought and when it’s there you must act on it. That’s what I had! An inspired thought! I went online and started looking for puppies. Even though my dad had not agreed on it I still had faith that I was going to receive my puppy. I came across an ad online for a lab crossed with a husky breed and I called them. Now these puppies were black and brown, not really the puppy I imagined but I wasn’t giving up hope. When I started talking to the lady she sent me photos of the puppies and out of seven there was one puppy that was a light gold blonde colour and he was exactly what I visualised right down to the fluffiness.

I was overjoyed and told my dad about him and he said he wants to see the puppies parents first before getting him. On the way there I already felt the feelings of having him in my arms and taking him home and him running around the yard. It so happened when we got there my dad fell in love with him too. He was a cute, fluffy teddy bear. I’m so grateful for my puppy, Buddy, even though he is a handful, he gives this family joy again.
