I saw The Secret last year, and realized how it has been a part of my life. How to use it effectively came only after watching the movie, & it has changed my life since. Well, I want to share something else that I learned, & hope it will help the Secret practitioners (novice & experienced) too….

I had a habit of writing a diary since school days. It’s been fun to write & reflect about the entire day spent. It has been a routine for years, but all that changed on 10-Feb-08… Something struck me so hard on that morning, that it has changed everything for me….

I was being reactive by writing what happened during the day, and thought, what would happen if I write what should happen today? Hmm… great idea!!! So I started experimenting with it.

Few small things…

Getting the buses back to back with just 5 min or less of waiting time (I have to take two buses to work) – it’s happening every day since. Today I woke up late and said, the normal bus I catch will come at 10:15am instead of 10:05am. What do I find, the bus came at 10:18. Next thing I do is start my mobile radio on the journey, & the first words that I hear are,believe me – “Sorry for the delay”, then music.

Went for a training to Hong Kong and believed everybody will absolutely appreciate my work. Last day of the training, the master trainer comes and says, “I am very impressed with your work & particularly impressed with you in the entire group.”

At work, all seats were booked on the flight to the Philippines, & very slim chance to get the seat on my favorite airline (Singapore Airlines). I believed the confirmation will come by 3:00pm. Normally all the communication is through support staff. At 3:00pm I get an email… seat confirmed. When checked with our support staff, she said, how come you received the email directly, they never do anything like that. The Secret… believe it.

I wanted to apply for Philippines Visa. Asked for no queue and timely Visa in my diary. Went to the Visa counter, and there was only one other person speaking to the Visa officer. Normally it takes at least 1 solid hour. Visa will be issued on 16-Mar, I fly on 17-Mar.

Holidays… Went to Malacca with family. Free upgrade to “Executive Coach” instead of normal bus while going. Asked universe for a sea view room after reaching the hotel (we booked city view to save some money). Free upgrade to sea view room because there was some fault in the room allocated to us. Free upgrade to family suite for stay at Kualalumpur. Amazing Holiday trip…

Many more things happening. All I would say to you fantastic people out there is, “Ask how you want your day to be, and then relax… it will be exactly like that.”
