I am a firm believer in the law of attraction. Throughout my life, I have manifested a few things and I believe there will be many more great things coming my way. I want to tell you of my latest manifestation.

I am a single mother of a 3 year old boy. Due to some circumstances, we ended up living in a hotel. The homeless services provided for us a temporary accommodation paid for by the city council. We lived in a hotel room for nearly a year. During that time my application for housing assistance was approved.

At the end of September, I read a book about the law of attraction. I have read a lot of books about mind power, including Rhonda Byrne’s books, “The Secret” and “The Magic” being my favorite.

I was really longing to have a place of my own, a place I could call home. I started using the visualization technique every morning and evening before going to bed. I imagined in detail what kind of house I would like to live in. I specifically wanted a house with a garden. I imagined a garden with nice plants. I wanted my house to be in a safe, quiet area, with lovely, friendly neighbors.

Then after about a week later, I received a phone call from the city council saying that they would be looking for rental properties for me and my son. The first apartment that we saw was ultimately given to some other tenant. It’s not easy to find a rental property where the landlord will accept partial housing assistance payments from the council.

However, luck was on my side. There was another property that we had to see. A 2 bedroom house with a garden, in a quiet area, within reachable distance to the city center. When I visited the house I knew instantly I would be happy to live there. It was exactly as I pictured it in my mind, a bright, sunlit living room and a garden with plants and a lot of space for my son to play.

I am so thankful to the Universe and The Secret. There is magical power within each of us, we just have to tap into it and use it to create a life more prosperous, happy, and full of love. Good luck to everyone, keep believing and manifesting!
