I am so happy that I am sharing my story here today. It’s a work-in-progress, but after today I am very, very optimistic.

Last year had not been that great for me financially and I wanted a really, really great year. As luck would have it, a friend suggested that I see The Secret – the movie. I had read so much about the book, that I gave it a shot. First of all it’s a very well made movie, and secondly whatever the movie asks you to do, is really not tough, so I gave it a shot.

To sort of test the theory, I started visualising a parking spot whenever I would go out anywhere, a spot just for my car, close to the elevator or the entrance. Well, it worked. For the past five months I have never had trouble finding parking. 🙂

So when the year began I started visualizing a pay slip with almost 70% hike. Sounds too big right??? Not to the Universe. I believed!!! In January I was promoted and I was given a 12% hike. The journey had begun.

I was really grateful for all the financial blessings in my life. I started making plans on how I would spend/invest the additional income that would come my way. I didn’t really waste money, but yes I did enjoy it. The Universe must have appreciated my gratitude, for I have been given another 18% hike. That’s a total of 30% already, and only three months of the year are gone. What I have realised is the infinite power of gratitude and belief. So I am determined to get my 70%. Also there is a specific job (career change) that I want. I am sure I’ll be writing about it – SOON.

So my dear reader, no matter how your life is right now or how overwhelming the circumstances, the power of belief is bigger.
