I was born with curly hair. Wavy and curly hair. My grandmother had such and so did my mother. Even though my father has straight hair, I got my mom’s genes and had curly hair. For 19 years of my life, I have been troubled. All because of my curly hair. Being in a hot nation, where the weather is so humid, I’ve always complained, mourned, and even cried plenty of times because of my hair. Since I hail from a middle class family, I didn’t have much money, exposure, or any luxury to do anything about my hair.

All I did was cry, crib, and complain about it. Yet, I would always dream of having silky smooth and straight hair. And, the interesting part is, every time I would dream or think about or visualize having my desired hair, I would end it with the thought that I have rough, curly, damaged hair. I would conclude this every single time I would dream of having my desired hair, that I could never get it and that I probably would always live with this.

I couldn’t afford good hair straighteners as they are very expensive in India, and it is a pain to use them daily. Not only is it time consuming but also not good for my hair. This had been my story for 19 long years. Quite a long one, right?

Well, guess who flaunts her silky, straight hair now? Guess who is grateful for her smooth, long and absolutely healthy hair? Me! That’s me!

Within 2 months, I went from rough, curly, damaged, unhealthy, lice, and nit filled hair, to healthy, clean, silky smooth and gorgeous straight hair. With a mere 2 to 3 months’ time at the most.

So how did this happen? Allow me to mention that I had never come across The Secret book or Movie before this. I had heard of it and knew that it was about the law of attraction, yet I had never had my hands on it before.

It was during the month of September or October in 2020, when the world was getting hit by the COVID-19 pandemic, that I had one of the most life changing experiences.

One of my and my sister’s relatives owned a beauty salon near my house. She was a distant relative and we met her by chance. She had mentioned the hair smoothening treatment to me and of course, I said no since it would cost a hell of a lot of money, even including her discount.

Yet, after several days I decided that I would go for the hair smoothening. At that time I had only 6000 rupees in my bank account, and they had been earned from my tutoring jobs. I don’t know what came across me, but I decided to do it. Probably I was just done. So I chose to undergo the hair smoothening, whatever the cost would be. For my hair length it was 4,000 and since I was her relative, she agreed to charge me 2,500 instead. So I went through with it.

And guess who owns healthy and gorgeous hair now? Me!

I still remember the date, it was December 25th, yes, on Christmas Eve that I underwent this lucky thing. And now I am writing this appreciation post months later.

I bought The Secret book last month and I am still reading it now. I also got The Secret Super App as well. And as I was reading through it, I could realize how I manifested all my dominant thoughts of having dirty, curly hair for 19 long years. And how 2 to 3 months of robust visualization and a firm decision, opened the way for me to get what I desired all in perfect harmony. I could not be more grateful for everything and for every person who played their part in it.

Now, I am manifesting my perfect weight of 50 kgs and in the near future, you will find me here again, writing my appreciation story on my perfect weight.
