Dear Rhonda:
May God bless your soul! My son surprised me one day and said, watch this it is very interesting. My husband, my father, and I watched the DVD and were amazed to see that without knowing it, we already were people who were aware that having gratitude and trying to make ourselves happy with what we had was important.
Yet, something was lacking. My husband was not satisfied with his job and had submitted his resume at various sites. My father, a widow, was living in another state, and although was spending Christmas with us, we both wanted to be together.
So, trying to follow what we had learned we purchased the book and all of us read it and then proceeded to implement all its advice. We scanned our desires, prepared our “Vision Board”, wrote our gratitude notes, and with all our hearts believed we would get our wishes, since all proceeded from love. We sat at our dining table and proceeded to read aloud what we had written. My father returned to Tennessee and I promised I would soon be returning for him.
My husband and I did a calendar with the Secret scroll as a background, then placed dates as we wished things to happen. Surprisingly, everything started to occur, The air tickets which were beyond our means to pay, suddenly went on sale. We were acting on our faith, but still no news of a new job for my husband – he had one pending in Miami but still not official.
We purchased the travel tickets, continued looking for a bigger house, and when I almost was about to give up, it appeared. I flew to Tennessee, with all relocation plans bubbling in my head; picked up my father and we returned to Miami, with only 4 days to prepare packages and boxes for our relocation. Well, we moved to a bigger house alright; five bedrooms, and a two-story house with a beautiful backyard. This move took place Saturday, March 15th, 2008.
Rhonda, two days after our move-in, my husband receives a call from an ex-colleague. They both had worked together in a corporation, but both had gone their separate ways. This gentleman was now very well off working as the top CEO of this company. He was offering Albert the job he had been dreaming of with all the great benefits he did not have. But there was a catch… it was in another state and needed immediately. You can imagine how he felt. Albert explained we had just moved to a new house 2 days ago, yet he was curious. Well, he was offered a free round trip to Nevada, so he could see the corporation’s facilities and assess the challenges and explore possibilities.
When I was informed, honestly I felt happy, but I also cried. I was neither able nor willing to move again. I still had not unpacked. It was overwhelming for me, since so many things had happened in such little time. I truly believed the “Elephant scene” in the move The Secret had befallen us. Albert went on to explain that it was a great opportunity to pursue his career and it was just healthy to know what they had to offer; I agreed. So, off he went to Reno, Nevada on March 20th, back by the 23rd and off to Tampa, Florida on the 25th to meet with the corporation’s President. On the 26th, he received by E-mail a Proposal and Contract that was, oh my God!!!! Too good to refuse.
So. I understood this was the Law of Attraction in motion, and we agreed that I would stay behind till our twins graduated in June and we could set them up in their own apartment just prior to beginning College life near campus. Luckily, part of the deal included monthly visits to and from Reno. It also included our relocation costs (furniture, cars, etc) and even my father’s airfare tickets. What more could you ask for.
During May, I traveled to Nevada, fell in love with the scenery and looked for a new place to live. They even held a ‘welcome barbecue’ for us, so we could meet other couples and not feel so lonely. I left after 11 days of searching and still had not found a house I liked, which we could afford. Yet I took another leap of faith and told Albert, God will provide for us, he does know our needs, likes and dislikes, so it is up to him.
Lord were we blessed. The house appeared just how we wanted it, and with all the details I so much loved. A one-story house with old trees and gardens, on a corner in a lovely neighborhood, and even the front door is painted to match my color scheme inside the house (teal).
So, to all your readers, this whole dynamic with The Secret and, believing, thanking from the bottom of your hearts because you KNOW, you FEEL it will really happens, does work.
Last but not least, we are sure that doing our Vision Board with the Calendar helped the sequence of events as they transpired so quickly, even before the dates we had marked.
Dear Rhonda, please accept our most sincere gratitude for the work you did making the information accessible to every one. We hold you dear to our hearts and are trying to spread the word to others so that they can benefit and create each day with the security that Life does hold many, many good things for those who dare to believe and acknowledge the Great Energy that blesses us all.
Sincerely,
MCC
