I was introduced to The Secret in 2005, but I did not pay much attention to it. I had the film and the book but I never got around to reading the book.

I was never lucky when it came to relationships, for a long time I thought I was meant to be alone. Then in January 2011 I met someone, and it was love at first sight. This person was like my other half, and we got on so well, we did every thing together, and for the first time in my life, I was really happy. I thought this was gonna last forever.

Then after one year of total bliss, on a Monday morning, after what seemed to me like an amazing weekend, this person told me that she is going back to her ex. I was devastated. We had so many plans for our future.

I went through the whole grieving process. I think at some point I even begged her to come back to me.

It was during that time when I re-discovered The Secret. I came to this site and read other people’s stories. So I told myself that I am going to use The Secret to attract my ex back. I was set on it for a while, and we even started communicating again. I was so happy. Then one day, all of a sudden I realized that I do not want this person back in my life after how she treated me, all I wanted was the future we planned.

So I shifted my focus.

I requested the Universe to give me my perfect partner, the one I was gonna spend my life with. So I started preparing for my partner’s arrival. I made space in my wardrobe, in my bathroom, and even on my dressing table. I bought a set of hers and hers towels.

And so it happened!!!

I met the woman of my dreams.

And as I look at how we are with each other, I began to understand why my ex had to leave. Because clearly she was not the one for me.

My partner and I are together for a year and two months now. And you know what is the best part?

She told me that she used The Secret to attract me into her life!!!
