My story might not be the most moving one, but anything that sparks up faith always counts, doesn’t it?

It begins with a man I met in Bombay. I had been in touch with him for over a year and I finally met him afterwards, and we got really close. As fate would have it, we both developed feelings for each other and he confessed it to me first. I accepted almost instantaneously! We started dating and the relationship went on pretty well for almost four months until something from my past showed up and created misunderstandings and problems between the two of us.

I was heartbroken, to be honest. I thought I would move on sooner or later but this person was something else for me! I tried everything that I could do. Cried, begged, compromised each little bit of my self respect, you name it!

It was then that I chose to surrender, to let go.

It was the best possible thing that I have done till now. Because in just a week he came back to me! He insisted on working things out and he asked me out again! I am so so so grateful and happy! We are together again and this time I know I will make it work for a long, long time to come! I love him and I am grateful for I have him by my side.
