We were playing at the beach with my daughters, and my prescription sunglasses fell into the ocean as I tried to stop my 3-year-old from going into the water. Mind you, I have been having optic neuritis in my right eye for a few weeks, and these glasses have been instrumental as I have not been able to wear my contact lenses.

We searched for the glasses in the waves amongst the sea shells because I am literally dependent on them, especially when driving during the day, and we had to travel back home in a few hours as it was our final day on vacation. I asked the Universe and the ocean to please bring the glasses back, and I remembered some of the stories I read on The Secret Super App of people asking the Universe to bring back a lost item. I was hopeful and tried to just calm my thoughts down.

As the waves continued to splash, I got more concerned, but something told me to keep looking and waiting. As we were looking amongst the shells, my 5-year-old walked closer to us and shouted, “Mommy, there are your glasses”, a few steps behind me in the sand.

It was so magical I just can’t explain it. The whole experience has made me aware of how I need to listen more to my girls. It’s an experience I will never forget. I feel like I got more than just my glasses back. Thank you, God, Source, and the Universe!
