Amazing Changes :) Thanks to The Secret
Submitted by: Judy N.
England, North YorkshireAn imaginative, creative, loving and caring person who really 'believes' in the Secret and the 'law of attraction'. The Secret has taught me to be really grateful for every good thing that has come into my life, so I always like to say "thank you". :)
My life has been like a roller coaster since I was little, and I have experienced some really bad events in my life. I have always been such a ‘negative’ person, BUT I never seemed to realise that whenever I thought a ‘negative’ thought, it would draw more bad events and experiences into my life.
When I was at school I was never happy. I never smiled (probably because I didn’t have a clue about the ‘Secret’ then as much as I do now), so every day I brought more unhappy thoughts into my life. I thought the world and everyone else around me was against me, as I was bullied and name-called every day, which put me down a lot.
When I was at college I went through the exact same situation. I was never happy, I didn’t have as many friends, I hated the work, I hated the people, the place, I, I, I, I… and so on.
Then the same happened to me when I got a job, and then the same the next job. I kept on thinking that changing my surroundings would help ‘me’ change.
DID IT? NO!
That was then – this is NOW: I am 22 years old and I am teaching myself the ‘Secret’ every single day by reading it over and over again and watching the film. Since I have started putting the ‘law of attraction’ into practice, my life has transformed in so many different ways. For a start, I have learned to be happy where I am – my home, my job, and not to mention starting to appreciate myself more.
I have been working at McDonald’s for almost a year and I absolutely hated it, but when I started to appreciate it and be ‘thankful’, I finally have a job now which I like. I am now working full time in a music store, and I have such great passion for music as it makes me ‘feel good’. Retail and working with music is what I have always wanted to do. I wasn’t earning enough money at McDonald’s, so it goes to show that if you start being ‘grateful’ for what you have and visualize what you want, you get more good experiences.
I have also made a journal of all the things that I am grateful for in my life.
Ask, believe, and it is GIVEN!!!
I like that phrase a lot, and will practice the Secret for the rest of my life. Thanks to my dad for passing this amazing life-changing gift onto me. It’s made such a huge difference.
Thank you Rhonda.
