This is my third story I get to share with all of you due to the wonderful power of The Secret.
First and foremost, I need to thank Rhonda and the entire team of The Secret once again for the magic they brought to each and every one of us to help us mold our lives to being everything we have ever hoped and dreamed! I also want to thank each one of you for sharing your stories and giving me motivation when I need it most. You are all so inspiring.

I have been practicing The Secret since 2011 when my love life was the most confusing thing I had ever experienced. This is the most recent instance of the Law of Attraction giving me all I wanted.

In February of 2015 I found out I was pregnant. We were over the moon. It was definitely scary, and we weren’t sure what to expect, but we were happy about it. However, we had recently moved away from all of our family and friends to a new city for a business opportunity for him.

We were a little worried. I was working a 40 hour work week at a company I really wasn’t happy with. He was working about 50 hours a week and was happy, but you could tell it was exhausting. I really wanted to quit my job, and just stay home to raise our little nugget, but I didn’t want to be the one to ask. I didn’t want him to resent me for wanting to stay home. I didn’t want to be the one to put all of our financial burden on him. So I asked the universe to help me achieve my desire; staying home. I imagined how my days would be. Waking up, caring for our young one, maintaining the home, making mom friends. All of it.

The next day, the very next day, he asked me when I wanted to quit my job. I was shocked!

How could he have known I wanted to quit my job, and not go on maternity leave? We discussed how our money arrangement would work, and we decided it not only would make sense financially because child care is so expensive, but would give us both peace of mind. How can you really trust someone you don’t know to watch your baby?

So it was decided. I quit my job 1 week before my due date and went into labor 5 days later! It was perfect harmony. Then, when she was four months old, I needed to make demands to the universe yet again. I loved staying home. I was so thankful and grateful for all that we had. But I was getting lonely, and a little stir crazy being at home all day, every day.

So I asked for more activities, outings, friends, and told the universe that I wanted a low key part time job from home to feel like I was contributing. I imagined all of these new mom friends. I imagined hiking, and reading, and writing, making crafts with other people. Hanging out at the park.

In the next few weeks, my life totally changed! I had a dear friend from out of the blue invite me to a Facebook page for mom hikes with other moms! I drove passed a library that was advertising for infant story time! I started going out at least once a day meeting other moms and people. It was amazing! I was never bored anymore! I started to feel fulfilled.

And then one night, totally out of the blue, my husband’s boss called him and said they needed someone to do invoices online part time for their shipments and asked if I would be interested!

I was elated! Here was a part time job that was easy to do, paid well, and was so out of the blue!

Thank you universe! You give me everything I could ever want and you do it quickly.

You can have it all, you just have to ask, believe, and let it go!!!
