Almost Missed My Obligation.
Submitted by: Robert M
Toronto, ONI am sixty-eight years young (in heart) and as the fruit of my late blossoming I have an eleven year old child. I love her more than I ever loved anybody as she is my second lease on life.
I was on the verge of missing out on the opportunity to share the powerful message of ‘The Secret’ with my beloved daughter. It was only after reading Thori Norris Brewer’s emotional submission, ‘The Secret: The Lesson Daddy Didn’t Have Time Left To Teach Me,’ that I realized the error of my ways. I had previously believed that I was securing my daughter’s future by making her the sole heir of my estate in my Will. However, after considering her young age, only eleven years old, and the fact that she is the precious product of my third marriage, my ‘second lease on life,’ I recognized how misguided I had been.
As I read Brewer’s story, tears streamed down my face. I had once subscribed to the notion that life is the teacher and that things should run their natural course. But now, I see how my beliefs were flawed. I decided to take action and wrapped my copy of the DVD of The Secret, and dedicated it to my daughter. I want her to understand me better, to learn the guiding principles of a fulfilling life, and to internalize ‘The Secret’ until it becomes second nature to her.
It is worth noting that I had the honor of knowing Bob Proctor personally during my time in Toronto. He was a magnificent man, and I am eternally grateful to him and his co-producers for sharing ‘The Secret’ with the world. Thank you, thank you, thank you. Thank you so very much!
