I was wishing to write this story with the happiest ending and I’m so grateful I now get to do this!

My partner and I currently live in the Philippines and it looks like we both secretly wished for more purpose in our lives just a few weeks ago. Then, 2 weeks ago, I found 5 puppies abandoned near the beach which is, unfortunately, not uncommon. When we moved here we really wanted to adopt a dog but it seemed impossible at the time to find a house that we loved and that was pet friendly.

When I found the puppies we tried everything to find them new homes and also convince our landlord to let us foster them. Nothing worked with our landlord but one puppy after the other was adopted. When it was down to the last 2 we decided to keep them no matter what.

Every night I practiced gratitude for being able to give them a home, keep them safe, and take care of them. Within 2 days we found a perfect, new, pet friendly house with a big fenced garden that cost half of what we were paying for our current place!

We now live with 2 happy, thriving puppies and I am so amazed by and grateful for the love and peace they brought into our lives. We both are incredibly happy and grateful.

In addition, I asked the Universe weeks ago for a sign that everything was going the right way and I started feeling sad that I did not see the sign anywhere. Still, I refused to give up and kept looking for it. On the first morning in the new house, we let the puppies run in the garden and there it was! A small tree with pink frangipani blossoming. I could not believe it, this flower was the sign I had asked for.
