I would first like to thank everyone that has conducted research to bring the LOA to our attention! A big THANK YOU!!

I have always lived in a world my oldest daughter likes to call world of “rainbows and butterflies”. I have always believed that anyone can do anything they set their mind to because that is how my life has always worked. I pick a goal and focus on that goal until it happens. I had no idea that it was the LOA at work, but I do now.

I am a divorced mother of three wonderful and brilliant kids. They are my whole life. After my divorce, we had to move out. We left our really pretty and warm home that was surrounded by my beautiful flowers I planted, into a very small and old house that was the beginning of a house that remained just a basement they had slapped a roof on and the yard was basically mud and rocks. I remained grateful for the roof over our heads and for a safe place for our family to heal and that is exactly what we did.

Later, I met a wonderful man that is now my husband and we began looking for a house for our new family. We joked around about moving to the lake, but did not think we could actually afford it. We looked at many houses and one day we passed a road that I remembered on a real estate website that had a house for sale. We pulled up to the house and it was a beautiful house on the lake with a two story dock!! It was amazing! There was a car in the driveway so we got out and it turned out to the be the realtor doing maintenance on the house. So he let us look through the house which we instantly fell in love with. It was perfect for us!

We found out the house was a foreclosure and was about half off the market price so we decided to put in a bid that night. While waiting on the realtor to call us back I checked the website for the house and the price had dropped another $10,000 so I called the realtor and the price had been automatically updated by a computer program.

It took a few days for the realtor to call us back and let us know if our bid was accepted so we went to the house multiple times and even bought ice cream and ate it on the dock and pretended we lived there.

We ended up getting our dream home on the lake with an additional $10,000 off!

Turns out there were three other people putting in bids on the house and counter offering and one was actually at the bank getting a loan for the house the day our bid was accepted!

We are now living happily ever after planting flowers in our yard and watching the sunset on the lake!!

After watching The Secret I realized that the whole time all of these things were going on it was the LOA at work. As soon as my husband and I finished The Secret movie we looked at each other and said “this is how we got the house!”

My daughter still says I live in a world of rainbows and butterflies and makes jokes, which I do not mind. However, I think she is slowly deciding as she gets older that it is not too bad of a place to live.
