During my senior year I decided to randomly apply to all the best universities I knew about. I really did not have a concrete plan as to how I wanted to spend my college years and so I just went on attending review classes and taking entrance tests.

During my freshman year I really wanted to take up International Studies at DLSU. But, when senior year finally came, this was not the case anymore. I wanted to go to another school to take up a different course even after years of wanting the other dream.

Finally after taking all the tests, results were soon scheduled to come out. I received the devastating news that I didn’t pass the test for the school I wanted. Though, I did not feel as sad as I thought I would. I was actually very okay with not getting in and didn’t even bother to apply for reconsideration.

This made me realize that I really wanted to get in DLSU instead, the school I originally wanted. The problem though was that back then I didn’t think I did well enough during the entrance test to get in so, I printed an edited version of the acceptance letter complete with my name and desired course. I glued it on the side of my bedside table so that it would be the first thing I saw every morning and the last at night.

About three months later, I finally received the result exactly as I printed it!! I am currently in DLSU about to take my majors! I am so grateful that I’m exactly where I wanted to be. I didn’t ever expect any of this to actually happen and I am so grateful that I ended up here.

My experience in this school so far, has been so great and I cannot imagine myself anywhere else and this is all happening thanks to The Secret !! 😀
