I was introduced to The Secret and the law of attraction by a close friend during my college days. I was amazed by the concept and started to read and practice it more and more. I did believe and I did receive the things I had asked for. But somehow after some point, I slowly left it in the past. Though I continued to live a happy life with certain ups and downs, I was not being grateful for each day of my life.

It was when we were trying to have a baby that I again started reading The Secret book, watching The Secret movie, and practicing gratitude. I kept thanking the Universe for all the good things I had in my life and boom! I became pregnant! During my whole pregnancy I only attracted positive thoughts and things and my whole pregnancy was so smooth and happy. Of course, I had a few negative people around me and I used to get irritated, anxious, and negative at times but I always used to intentionally think of positive thoughts immediately. I used to be thankful for my healthy, happy, and beautiful child. I used to thank my wonderful life with my child and my family. And believe me, the Universe gave me a precious gift, my child, just as I wanted. I feel so blessed that I am the Universe’s child. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

I have again asked for a wish that I am sure is coming true in a few hours. Thank you, Universe! I will post about it in another story soon.
