A U-Turn Beyond Belief.

If I was reading this, I probably wouldn’t believe it to be true but because I witnessed this as it happened to me, I remain in awe and deep appreciation of how powerful The Secret and the practice of gratitude and positive thinking can be.
I am a Physical Therapist who specializes in cancer care. Recently I decided to expand my skills and signed up for a training course that I knew would be tough and demand a high level of commitment along with intensive study. The idea of completing more exams and tests brought fear and anxiety to my mind. I struggled during my childhood to pass most of my exams at school but went on with fierce determination to achieve my degree and prove I was not as stupid as my parents always thought.
I have been practicing gratitude and following The Secret principles ever since. In the run up to my first exam, I was filled with fear, self-doubt, and anxiety. I tried hard to deflect these feelings and counter them with affirmations, but the emotions were strong and I went into the exam not feeling myself. I rushed through it and felt sick afterward seeing my results. I had missed the pass rate by 2 marks.
I was devastated and experienced all these negative thoughts about what the examiners would think of me along with my family and friends. I reached out to my aunt who has always been an inspiration and a rock to me. She has also been following The Secret and practices gratitude every day. In fact, she was the one who originally introduced me to The Secret book. She suggested I change my practice slightly and give my thanks for positive results and to project my affirmations as events that had already happened rather than what I hoped would happen.
I started doing this repeatedly and within 48 hours I received an email from the course director saying there had been a system error and my exam had been graded again. It turns out that I had passed with more than the required percentage needed! The course director ended the email by saying “Do not doubt yourself, you are doing great!”
I felt completely overwhelmed with joy and love for the Universe. I felt that the Universe was working to help me achieve my goals. I immediately gave thanks and attached all the positive emotions I could to send back to the Universe to show my appreciation and trust in The Secret.
I hope this story helps other people when negativity, fear, or anxiety comes their way. These are unnecessary feelings and can be stamped out by sending love, gratitude, and thanks back to the Universe. I am deeply grateful for The Secret. I am thankful to Rhonda for sharing this amazing practice and helping others to learn and benefit from The Secret book and the movie. Thank you to the Universe for the abundance of good things it brings me. Thank you to everyone for sharing their stories. I have read many of them in my times of need.
I hope to be back in a few weeks to update you all on the outcome of my final assessments and exams, which I am so very happy and grateful to have passed. Thank you, thank you, thank you!
