I was at a local department store looking at toys with my son. A book was on the shelf above. It looked really intresting, but I bought a toy instead. That same night, I was on a website, and I came across the same book. I knew it was a sign. The next day, I purchased the book and the DVD.

Two days later, I sat with a good friend. This friend is a young single mother who never waivers, she is almost a rock. Her children do not go without – they are her everything. For the two days prior I told her to say thank you when she woke in the morning and at night to ensure that her last thoughts were based on something that she really wanted. She told me I was mad. I told her I had a secret. Then we watched it.

The next day she was to enrol her son in preschool, and there was a $100 holding fee. As it turned out, she had made a mistake about the day, so with the $100 she then decided that she would buy her son an electric blanket. It needed to be water proof. She went to the department store and was expecting them to be about $80 – they were $120. She had the $100 from the preschool money, but her initial thought was that she could not spare that extra twenty dollars. She told me she stood there thinking about her son and how he had been sick… she thought about how warm and cosy he would be.

She got the electric blanket. Her son was at his aunty’s which is about 15 km out of town. Driving down this long dusty road, she saw something fluttering. She pulled over and found a $20 note. She cried, because she had not knowen how she was going to last the next couple of days. She was so grateful.

Instead of spending the money, she has changed the $20 to $200,000 – it remains in her wallet and she said that she will never spend it.
