After watching The Secret many things have happened – too numerous to mention – but the biggest so far has been the manifestation of a trip to the USA.

It was one sunday evening in January 2007, and we had a friend visiting who had been in the USA as an exchange student when she was younger. We talked about the States and then I said, “I’ve never been to the USA, I would like to go there to see the country myself.” As I said this I kind of paused for a second and felt how it would feel. I didn’t force the feeling, it came very naturally.

Then on tuesday, that is, under 48 hours, my boss showed me a date on the calendar at the end of February and asked, “Is this date ok for you?” I said, “It’s free, yes. What for?” And he replied, “You’re going to the USA for five days.”

I was pretty awestruck that moment, but I think I managed to smile. All expenses paid, plus daily benefits. Very nice.

So, I’m going to the US of A! I’m so excited! And for this, I’m grateful!
