I recently started reading “The Secret” because I have been going through a tough time, and things have not been going as I had hoped. I was hoping that “The Secret” might help me come to terms with certain aspects of my life and turn things around.

Even though I have seen some evidence of it in my life so far, I really needed concrete proof that “The Secret” is real. Last night, I even asked for a sign out loud.

This afternoon, my bike was stolen for the third time in a few years. Normally, I would be furious if something got stolen, but this time I felt different. I was sad for a few minutes, but then I made up my mind: I was going to find it and get it back. I even posted about it on Twitter. A few hours later, I saw my bike in town. The seat had been adjusted for a taller person, the bike bags were removed, and a different lock was on it. When the thief returned to the bike, I confronted him and asked for it back. Surprisingly, I did not even feel angry. I now have my bike back, and I see it as a sign that “The Secret” really works, just as I had asked for the night before. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

I am very excited to continue reading the book. It will really help me to have the faith I need to achieve my goal, which is why I started reading it in the first place. I’m sure I will now, and when I do, I will let you know.
