A List Of Successes
Submitted by: Paul H.
New York, NYA "Forever 21" man living in New York. New York! New York!. Self-employed and very successful, meditative spiritualist and ritualist. Basically doing very, very well for myself.
Here’s a list of secret successes so far:
A) Moving from a developing country in Asia to a European country with a very high standard of living living there for 8 years and then moving to New York, clearly the place to be, where I live now. I did this without taking the student route or family/friends route that most Asians use to move to the West.
B) Landing an excellent job in an excellent company at a very high salary that puts me in the 95th percentile in a high income country, and excellent benefits. Business class-luxury travel, coincidentally or “secretly” to my hometown twice a year because a we have operations there. Great colleagues, flexibility to work out of any of our global offices, working holidays. Yeah, I get to travel and work, I use Regus’ facilities, they’re great and almost everywhere, just about in every area. Also I got a promotion within 18 months without asking for it. I am now self-employed and still maintain great ties with this cool organisation.
C) Attracting only positivity and worthy people in my life.
D) Becoming a hit with the girls. All over the world, literally! I used to bat close to zero in this department until I shifted my focus to the positive. Now the girls are always eyeing me, seeking me out, dating me, throwing themselves at me and more. 😉 That’s censored for this testimonial.
E) Dissolving racism: This is worthwhile noting. Several people think you can’t tackle racism with The Secret. I assure you, you can. It’s amazing how many people suddenly perceive me as “one of them” some going so far as to say that I look Aryan, despite my skin tone being that of a South East Asian i.e. chocolate brown.
People are more polite, they invite me over to their homes and for family parties, bring me dinner without asking, girls asking me out (read point (d)), colleagues respecting me despite being from a different race. The list is endless. It’s surprising that just a shift in focus can cause miraculous shifts in reality. The positivity entered within 1-2 days of beginning my practice of gratitude and appreciation.
The point is, if you’re positive and accept yourself as equal to others (better yet as God itself – yes, it’s true), then others can enter your experience only on those terms. You lay down the law for your life experience and others MUST comply if they are to be part of it. The best way to tackle racism is to look the other way. Focus and appreciate it’s opposite, i.e. inclusion.
F) Rituals: I also work with alternative spirituality. Mother Mary, Kabbalah, Necronomicon, Norse Shamanism, Olympian spirits and bunch of other stuff. My relationship with these entities has also improved dramatically, although I’m now on a long sabbatical just improving myself, alone. Gotta say, all ritual workings involve the Universal Laws and I’ve got excellent results with all systems although my negativity used to get it down.
G) Travel: I love travel and now I am travelling the world for up to 2 years. I keep getting great deals on flights, trains and hotels. I even get off the hook if I screw up e.g. I’ve got refunds on several “non refundable” bookings. I keep meeting wonderful people wherever I go and am welcomed wherever I go.
My core practices: Holding focus on either what I desire, or a generalised point of focus. For meditating, like a picture of myself or Mother Mary, meditating Gratitude Journal, Affirmations, having a good time, and some rituals.
There’s loads more I can say, but this will do for now.
