Since an early age, I thought there was something special that I needed to know about. There was some subconscious message that never came to the surface but I could sense something was “there”.

As a kid, I had a catholic education, so I was taught to believe in God and all the normal church procedures. I remember I used to ask my church educator why I saw war on television, if they teach us we are all brothers and sisters from the same father. As a 9 year old who was seeking answers, it didn’t made sense and they couldn’t give me answers that would clarify it. That contradicion made me realize that even they didn’t knew very well what they were preaching, but I still kept on being a catholic practicioner till when I was about 15.

At that age, I had realized some things that couldn’t be explained on normal situations, like miracles that happened by someone’s total devotion to Faith and Belief and people that actually managed to cure themselves from cancer or other serious disease.

I kept thinking about it for some time as life went on, until I met Paulo, who had been introduced to me by another friend at that time (about year 2000). Now he was a person I will never forget! He taught me the most amazing things based on the teachings of Carlos Castaneda, an esoteric writer from the 80’s that had an outstanding view of the world, energy and reality at that time.

One concept that was truly amazing was the INTENT they talk about, which can also be called as the Law of Atraction by The Secret and many other actual writers.

My life changed from then on although I was struggling to apply many of those principles and many times without success, being a total failure. One day, in yearly 2007, I was talking with a friend of mine on the internet about those teachings and he asked me if I had seen The Secret. I had never heard of it before, but he told me that it had very useful knowledge and that he was applying successfully many concepts presented in there.

So I went after The Secret DVD as soon as possible, and I saw it that same night. When I began playing it I was thinking it was really a movie, but then I was realizing it was a documentary. I didn’t know what to expect in the first minutes until I remember Bob Proctor and other authors explaining what the Law of Atraction is. When they began to explain it, I was immediately focused on everything they were saying and realizing I knew that concept so far as they told it.

I will never forget the moment when Joe Vitale said that we must visualize what we want, pretend we already have it!! That was a shock to me!! That instant I felt an outstanding chill and I immediately began to imagine everything I wanted in my life even during the movie, and from that moment on, my life has become magical!!!

I bought The Secret book as soon as possible and read it everyday. I watched the movie whenever I could, always amplifying my thoughts and my wonderful feelings to the state of bliss!! Finally I found the answer! Everything was there!! The connection with Energy, Love, Attraction, Feelings, Emotions, Visualizations, Faith, Belief, Gratitude is just amazing!

I had a destructive relationship with a girlfriend for almost 6 years and I finally managed to get myself free from it, and with no conflict at all. I managed to get out of debt, one month later I bought a new car and I started saving money too! I raised my self-esteem to an outstanding level, I was spreading joy and happyness to anyone I found during my day, even on the most normal situations! I became a love giving being and I attracted the most amazing girl ever, who I am very happy with and truly grateful!!!

I also love to read similar books and related authors so I can learn as much as I can and to develop my skills on various subjects. The Secret was the eye opener to me. A true blessing.

Now I am working in a foreign country, making one of my youth wishes come true, earning about 5 times more than in my previous job. I’m also building my own business so I can achieve my top goal after discovering The Secret: to achieve financial freedom!! Now it’s just a matter of time until I can achieve my Big Dream, and keep on living a truly blessed life!!
