My story about intention and the law of attraction.

On January 22nd 2008 I was sitting in a pub with a friend. We made a bet and wrote it on a beer mat. The bet was that by the time I was 45 (6 years away), I would own a property in Ibiza and I would be spending a lot more time there. I had spent many years holidaying there and it is a special place for me with a very spiritual heart.

At the time my friend thought it was a bet, but I knew it was an affirmation and the intention had been sent to the universe. I never thought about this on a daily basis but I did think about it regularly. I had some more holidays and even viewed a few properties over the years, but nothing really happened for five and a half years.

Then I was made redundant in October 2013. This set off a chain of events.

Suddenly I had some spare time and I went back to Ibiza for the third time that year which was a lot more than usual. I looked for a property.

Two days after I started to look, it appeared out of nowhere. A small but perfect holiday home, so I made an offer and it was accepted. I am waiting on paperwork now, but the process has begun.

I guess I wanted to share this story to show the real effects of the power of intention and the law of attraction.

I do wonder why I decided at the time I needed to wait six years, but that is a lesson learned. This is made all the more amusing by the fact that the agreed completion date for the property is the 22nd January 2014. The universe does has a sense of humor!

So I win the bet, I get the holiday home I always wanted and a wonderful birthday present.
