After paying a myriad of bills, I did not have much money left over for incidentals which would get me through to my next pay period, which was not for another two weeks. I kept telling myself that it would be fine, as I had paid my rent, I had paid my bills and I had already done the grocery shopping. But, I was still worried. I hate that feeling.

I had a doctor’s appointment scheduled for my son and I was a bit worried about the co-payment but it was an appointment that I didn’t want to cancel. I started reading The Secret stories which I tend to do when I need a pick me up. As I was leaving work, I got a text from the doctor’s office saying that they canceled the appointment. I instantly smiled a big smile and thought to myself, “Oh you sly Universe, you just saved me from the co-payment this week”. I smiled big again and starting chanting “Checks in the mail” in my head. Then I went about my commute home.

When we got home, my son grabbed the mail and brought it in and I had a fleeting thought of  “Wouldn’t it be great if there was a big, fat, juicy check in there?”. My son told me there was a letter from United Health Care but I did not pay it any mind. I figured it was an EOB, and I went about the night making dinner and doing other tasks. After I was done with all my of work for that evening, I opened the letter.

It was a $200 check! For what, I have no idea!!!! It indicated a date of service of December 2017. Ten months ago? I do not know what the heck this was for, but I knew, like I knew, like I knew, that it was all put together by the Universe. This would get me through and I suddenly was able to totally relax. What a fun feeling!!! Two days later I went on a school trip and the teacher refunded my payment as she told the facility that I was staff so I should not have to pay. That was a small surprise of $15.00, but hey, I’ll take it!!! This was a fun one! And no surprise is too small! I welcome all of these windfalls!
