A Dream Came True, First Class Honors!
Submitted by: Sandhya
MauritiusI'm a simple young woman who treasures each and every moment of her life.
I had heard about The Secret a few years back. I decided to watch the movie and I found it really inspiring. So inspiring that I decided to put the LOA into practice.
I was at my first year at the university and in the first instance, I started feeling grateful about securing a seat at the university. When I got my “end of first year” results, I was happy upon seeing my CPA above 70. At that time, I thought how wonderful it would be to graduate with a First Class Honors degree making my parents proud of me, that was my motivation. I toiled hard. There were many times when I felt like giving up, but then those were the times that I kept pushing harder.
The second year results came. My CPA dropped a little below 70. I felt discouraged and even wondered whether I would be able to achieve my dream. However, I got rid of the negative thoughts and replaced them with positive ones. I would often send myself messages of congratulations for the First Class results.
Eventually, at the end of my 3 years of studies at the university, I reaped the fruits of success and graduated with a First Class Honors degree in 2014.
Today, I’m grateful towards all the wonderful people who helped me achieved my dream. As Rhonda wonderfully says, if you see it in your mind, you hold it in your hand.
