I have read and watched The Secret as well as The Power and have used the LOA on many things to getting into a university hall and getting part time jobs. But it wasn’t till early last year that something truly significant came about. I had taken a gap year from Uni and was in a rut deciding what to do for the year and for my career.

I have always dreamed of working in Film & TV and over the summer I was been visualising working on a few certain productions. But I know I wasn’t putting 100% into it. But somehow I came across an advertisement for a workshop in the United States with individuals from the very productions I have been visualizing. It seemed too good to be true. But I auditioned anyways. Two days later I was accepted into the programme as one of only two from my country. I attended the workshop and it was incredible but I had forgotten about using the LOA and my negative thoughts took over.

Almost a year later I have been re reading The Secret and The Power as well as some of the e-books. I have been putting a lot of energy into visualizing my dream job but hadn’t seen any progress. One night I just said to myself, “I have an amazing audition tomorrow”. Even though it was a Saturday I felt the love and positive force for having an audition tomorrow. I went to bed early knowing that I would need to be energized the next day. I just went about my day as usual and when I came back from grocery shopping, there was my audition sitting in my email.

I had auditioned last year for a project but didn’t expect anything from it as I knew I hadn’t done it justice. But the company must have seen something and kept it on file. They had emailed me requesting a taped audition for a big film they were doing. I knew this was a rare chance and put my all into it.

I am waiting to hear back from them and I just know that the role is mine. It just goes to show that sometimes all you need is a couple of minutes of complete and utter faith that what you want is going to happen.
