Okay, about 5 years ago my mom sent me a gift. That gift was The Secret. At first, I was like, “Why would my mom send me a book?”. After reading The Secret, it gave me such an amazing energy I was thankful that my mom had sent The Secret to me.

Years had past, and I went through a pretty negative time in my life and saw The Secret sitting there on my bookself and picked it up and read it within a couple of hours. Since picking up The Secret and rereading it, I set out to be as positive, thankful, and full of love as possible. I searched the internet for all the things that I wished for. Little by little, each day was more positive and and amazing I was so grateful for the power of positive thoughts.

What really made me realize this power was real was when I went to the store and was testing out couches that I realized this was the couch that I had on my “What I Want” list. It took a couple of times of me testing out the couch that I felt that amazing feeling that I do have the power to write my own life and that was an amazing feeling, a feeling that I truly cannot explain but it is great! I know it may just be a couch to some but to me it says so much more.
