I have so many stories I could post here but I’ve chosen to share this one as it’s so obvious the LOA was in effect.

At the beginning of this year I was working at a place that was clearly going to fold and they had asked me to go from working full time to 2 days a week as well as telling me they would have to give me a huge pay cut.

I decided I needed to revisit The Secret movie as I realized I’d got into a negative pattern. I began playing the movie as often as I could during the day, in the background as I did my makeup, blasting it on full volume while I had a shower and playing it every night under my pillow as I slept. If I woke in the night I’d hit play again.

In the film, Dr Joe Vitale says to visualize a sum of money that is believable to you. He then gives the example of $25,000. As I live in the UK, I decided to go with his suggestion but change it to £25,000. That way whenever I heard that part, my mind would completely agree on the amount.

I began writing down that I had £25,000. I wrote notes in my phone and would look at it and feel a rush of excitement. I wrote how grateful I was for it. I was open to this amount coming from anywhere, a win, a new job with that amount as the yearly salary, anything.

Fast forward 4 months. Saturday morning, hectic rush to get out the door for my daughter’s dance class when the mail makes me pause as there was a handwritten envelope to me in writing I didn’t recognize.

Inside was a check for £25,000!! I knew immediately I had manifested it and tried to explain to my husband who thought I was crazy. At that point I hadn’t even seen who the check was from!

It was from my father who had never ever given me a penny as a child or adult, who couldn’t even discuss money. I’m 34 and he has never written to me before, which is why I didn’t recognize his handwriting.

When I called him he said he had been thinking for a while, (15 years!) of giving my siblings and I some money they made on selling a house years ago, but now was the right time.

Bear in mind this was the exact amount I had been dreaming of, writing, studying and making part of my waking and sleeping life. An amount I was willing to work 5 days a week all year round to get! And it was in my hands without lifting a finger!

I’m so grateful to everyone who played a part in helping me find The Secret. And yes, I’m now working on bringing £50,000 to me!
