So I was first told to watch The Secret when I joined a forum page for women who were trying to conceive. My fiance and I had tried the first month without much luck and I was already feeling pretty bummed. When I saw the post of a girl who recommended The Secret, I figured I should give it a shot. I was absolute floored as I watched the documentary twice; once alone and once with my fiance. I have always been very spiritual, but like they mentioned in the film, some spiritual people still find themselves sick and broke.

So I decided to start being gracious for any good thing that came my way. This was a bit difficult at first because I am, or used to be, such a pessimist. A week later I had ordered The Secret, The Power, and The Magic. I began reading and doing exercises from the books and I also began saying affirmations for the things I wanted to bring to my life. Of course, one of those was a child.

I said ‘thank you’ every morning and used The Magic Rock every night. I also had an altar I used for religious purposes but I started lighting a candle one to two times a day to thank for blessing me with a child.

As I type this to you, my fiance and I are giddy from the positive test we just received on Christmas Eve, our one year anniversary of our engagement.

I wanted to thank Rhonda Byrne so much for bringing The Secret into my life. I graduated college with honors as well during this time and I plan to use The Magic and the power of The Secret to bring me my dream job!

For anyone who is skeptical of the Secret: Don’t be! Open yourself to all the universe has to offer you and you will be amazing at how wonderful life can be!
