I am now 45 yrs old, have a loving husband, four great kids and a lot of support. I have a charmed life.

As lucky as I am, life gets in the way sometimes and I recently felt overwhelmed by the pressures of work, lack of time, money etc.

I am a positive thinker by nature and mainly read positive books but I was so tired and frazzled that I had forgotten to do the one thing that helps me feel balanced.

I started listening to my Secret CD on my way to work again as a means to start my day on a positive note. While I was driving the other day I decided to visualize something as a test to see if this really works. I visualised unexpected money coming my way (it was the section of the CD I was listening to at the time). It was also the area of the Secret I was most sceptical about so as a true test, it had merit.

Two days later, my boss calls me into his office. He sits me down and tells me that he wanted to thank me for all the hard work I had been doing and wanted to give me a $2000 bonus.

The funny thing is that I wasn’t jumping for joy. I was just sooooo content and calm. It was the turning point from wishing that The Secret works to knowing that it works.

Isn’t it amazing how after you “live” The Secret, the same things, people and work all of a sudden look different, its like all of a sudden the sun has come out and everything is so much richer, warmer and loving. The funny thing is that it was there all along… I had just forgotten to notice.

As to the future, for the first time in my life I am not rushing to do everything all at once. I am taking my time clarifying and writing my goals, I started exercising for the first time in 20 years, I have started my visual board and am generally enjoying the moment. I feel no need to rush as I know for sure that my future will be brilliant!!!
