Music is my life. I eat, sleep, breathe music, and I can’t imagine it being absent from my soul.

For years I’ve been doing really basic bedroom DJ-ing on my computer, making remixes, writing and recording my own songs (I sing and play guitar), mainly out of sheer enjoyment. I’ve always thought the industry is notoriously hard to break into.

That’s when I found The Secret…

2 different people recommended the book to me, and being very spiritual and open-minded I instantly embraced the concepts, and have now made it a way of life. In short, here’s my story:

After graduating from University I moved out of my student flat, which was very typical of student living – very, very basic and bleak. I wanted to move somewhere new, modern, and somewhere that would make me happy 100% of the time. Due to my friends embarking on different ventures, I couldn’t live with them, and decided I would have to live with someone I didn’t know, which was slightly worrying at first.

I started making a VISION BOARD of how I wanted my new room to look… an amazing home recording studio, keyboards, guitars, computers, software, microphones. I’d rip out small pictures of different instruments and make a sort of collage. Then I just sat back, focused on the board every day, and waited for my new environment to be created…

About 2 weeks later I posted an ad on the internet: ‘Outgoing Drama/Music graduate seeks friendly flat.’ The next day I got a reply off a guy who lived in a 2 bedroom flat. His old flatmate was moving out and he needed to fill the room. He just gave me the address and the time of the viewing and I went around.

I was blown away. Not only was the apartment situated on the beautiful Albert Dock, I walked into the apartment and the first thing I saw was the guy’s bedroom… it was UNCANNY! He’s a musician also – his room was FULL of guitars and instruments and recording equipment and sheet music and speakers. I could not believe!!!! In my head all I was saying was, “THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOOOOOU!!”

I moved in 2 weeks later and now enjoy a great friendship with my new flat mate. His musical mind is inspiring and we enjoy collaborating with each other. I now plan to enroll in the SAE institute to do a diploma in Electronic Music Production.

I am very happy and excited about my future. I give thanks to the Universe every day for what it has brought me and what it continues to bring me. There are no restrictions with the law of attraction.
