Hi!

Firstly I would like to thank Rhonda and the team for teaching the world about LOA. I would also like to thank God. Secondly, I want to thank all the inspiring stories on here, they really keep my motivation strong!

The Secret has helped me in so many ways, I continue to watch the movie every day sometimes twice a day.

But today I wanted to share my story about how I got my boyfriend.

Before I started university I decided to make a list of things I wanted in a boyfriend. I’ve always had a rough idea but I decided to add specific details. I ended up meeting a guy, I never really noticed him much but, gradually the more I learnt about him, the more I realised how much he matched my list! I actually interacted with him a month before the day I properly met him but didn’t realise it was him.

Some interactions here and there came about but nothing ever materialised. My faith started wavering so I forgot about him.

When the new academic year started, his name would start appearing in books, street signs and shop names so I took it as the universe sending me signs. I remembered what a psychic that approached me said about luck and love. I knew then I couldn’t give up.

Subsequently, I visualised us going to a cafe and laughing. I gave thanks for every aspect of life. As silly as I felt initially, I acted as if we were dating already and I started to keep a journal. When one of my friends would ask how he is, I would only reply with positive feeling. I would even imagine us recommending books to each other to read because he is a keen reader. I received an email from a relative asking if I was dating. I decided not to reply to that email. Instead, I typed a draft saying I was dating my boyfriend included details such as name, personality and looks. I would read it every day feeling joyful that I was indeed dating the same guy who I liked so much.

Anyway, to cut this story short, he messaged me on Facebook and started talking to me first!

We’re dating now and happy even though it is early days! He makes me smile and just like I imagined, he has already recommended books for me to read over the holidays!

If you have a crush on a person, don’t give up, focus on their good qualities! Feel grateful for what you have and even replaying moments or conversations you’ve had with them no matter how small. Feeling grateful for them really does help.
