Last March, March 4th to be exact, I watched The Secret. A friend had given it to me and said “I’d get it.” Well, having come out of what was a year-and-a-half long dip, personally, business-wise, and spiritually, I decided to give it a watch.

By the end of it, I KNEW everything was going to be just fine… But, of course, us humans, we’re a bit skeptical. And as focused as I was on regaining the “self” I once was, I had to get over the little voice of the ego… of doubt.

After manifesting some small-ish things, I decided to focus my attention on finances. More specifically my business, and turning around what was becoming a very worrisome trend. My industry has gone through some major changes (photography), and after investing a substantial amount of our savings (ok… ALL of it!) in building a new studio close to home, I was REALLY worried about meeting the bills. So I focused my attention on the number 30… as in, 30 new contracts to be signed by the end of the month. Now even in the best of times, we had never met such a number… and we certainly had reason to be skeptical since we had only done 15 or so per month for the previous 8-10 months. But I asked, and I believed, and then I was so VERY grateful. Grateful for all I had, for all I am, and for all I’ve been given. AND… thankful for the 30 new contracts.

Now remember, it was March 4th… already four days into the month. On the morning of the 5th, I exercised on my bike and began to focus on not only the 30 contracts in that month, but also on other things… like a trip to Italy, a significant amount of money in the bank by the end of the year, a new business, and a few other things.

I told two people… my wife and my GM. Both smiled and said, “Ok?!?”

25 days later we had signed 33 contracts.

Last October I took my wife to Italy for her 40th birthday.

I had a LOT of cash on hand at the end of the year, and…

I opened a new company! Sound too good to be true?!?!

It’s not. By focusing my attention on what I wanted, FEELING good about it, and being thankful for it, I had the most incredible year of my life! And through it all, I was able to see, with clarity, that the Law of Attraction can absolutely change your life. IF you let it. It’s going to happen either way… so you may as well gain control over it and enjoy the ride!

Have I faced challenges? Of course. But that is part of my journey, and I’m aware of it. I don’t allow doubt to creep in for any length of time. As soon as I feel it, I focus on something good… and feel grateful. I also believe in the power of reinforcement. I play the DVD of The Secret regularly, write in my Secret Gratitude Journal, listen to my Secret Meditation disc when I go to sleep, and most of all… I BELIEVE!

I believe in my own power… the power of this universe and the power of mankind. My energy is one with the universe and I am so happy… FOREVER in this moment!
