Yesterday night I received a transfer of $2,775 USD unexpectedly into my checking account. I am a self-dependent college student currently unemployed, so this was a VERY BIG DEAL!

I was introduced to LOA at many different times throughout my life; and every time I learn something new! Yesterday was day one for me of “The Magic” by Rhonda Byrne.

Always loving outside, and remembering that the more you give, the more you receive, I chose to make a gratitude list of 24, on the patio, where I am most calm, instead of 10, as suggested. At the end on my day, around 2 am last night, I read that I needed a rock, tonight, for the next day’s gratitude activity. I live in the city, off campus, and going outside for a rock at that time, was not something I would normally do. As I began to feel reluctant, I thought to myself, how badly do I want to change my life, just as The Secret teachers asked in the movie “The Secret.”

I put my coat on, right on top of my pajamas, and then my hat and left my apartment. As I walked down the hall towards the elevator, I thought to challenge myself and take the stairs down 12 flights to the ground floor. I was on the third to last set of stairs and saw it taped off due to wet paint. I saw this blockade as a more psychological road block, than a physical one. I decided to push forward, for nothing, not even my own self-doubt is going to prevent my success from now on. I took the risk, and literally jumped over the tape from stair to stair within the stairwell. I am not suggesting this and realize it is dangerous. However, it felt invigorating, even if it was a simple parlous move, an activity I have desired to do for 5 years now. I finally made it outside, with the wind blowing at my face and in the dark of the night I asked the universe to guide me to my rock. I really needed guidance for I didn’t know of a place near my apartment where I could find a rock especially with less light.

I found my rock and headed back to my apartment. Just before going to bed, I checked my bank account and found that my school had transferred $2,775 unexpectedly into my checking account!!! I had already received my refund for this semester, but somehow I had a grant pending from last semester that was paid out, just now. It had never happened to me before. I didn’t even know I was supposed to receive it. I am very glad I did!

This $2,775 is part of the $25,000 I declared to the universe to receive this month. I am very grateful to have come this far and I know I will receive everything I give.
