It was my 21st birthday and I was sitting all by myself sobbing. I was in depression for a long time, for 2 years and I could not face myself in the mirror. I had no friends as such and I had thought myself into a reality that my parents don’t love me.

Looking back on my life I had just one question. What exactly happened in my life that had lead me to being a person who smokes almost 30 to 40 cigarettes a day, who has no self-respect and is on path of self-destruction? 

You see, I had been living my life at my full potential for 19 years. I always got what I wanted, people always wanted to be my friend and even though I did not study at all  I always use to get good marks. I was a good singer, a good son, a good friend and I was living the law of attraction without ever realising it. I believed in me.

Coming back to my 21st birthday, I was literally a person who had given up on life and I just wanted to get out of it. I had no peace in my life. I was seeking answers.

That was when I attracted “The Secret” into my life. I was randomly shuffling through books in my roommates Kindle and just started reading The Secret. Only God knows why, and there it was, all the answers I had asked for and I needed. I cried for two days after reading the book and I realized how stupid I had been to ask the Universe to see the other side of life, which I had only heard about since my life was always perfect. The people, the situations, the circumstances, they were all attracted by me as I did ask for them.

From that day on I drastically changed my life. Now after two years, I am a non-smoker, I am at my perfect health, I have good friends, I finished my civil engineering with good grades, my parents are happy, they love me and I feel blessed. I feel my purpose is to make other peoples lives better and make this world a better place.
