My husband I were Secret champions. We talked about it all the time and got my parents in on the action. We created a vision board last year and right in the middle we wrote the amount of money we wanted to earn for the 2007-2008 school year.

I couldn’t see how we would manifest 100K in that school year. After taking the vision board to school to teach 4th graders about it, I left it at school and it became buried. First in my classroom and then in our garage. It wasn’t until the end of the summer that my husband found it and taped it to our mirror in the bedroom. It had been missing for over seven months. We again began envisioning the amount we wanted to earn. It would mean that my husband would have to be hired on as a teacher and not an assistant as he had been for the past two years. There were no openings in his certification area. We let that part go and just kept thinking about the end result and the amount of money we were going to receive.

At the end of the summer of the 2007-2008 school year a position came available. Not in his subject area, but in his minor from college. Within two weeks of putting the vision board back up on our mirror he signed his contract.

Are we going to earn 100k this year????? NO.

With all bonuses we will earn $100,600. Now we are focusing on the vision board daily. What’s next?? We’re thinking Disneyland Paris.
