So around 4 years ago I had already been a student of the LOA for a while, and though I wasn’t skeptical I still had my feet “firmly on the ground”. Said another way, at that time in my life I believed in the LOA but didn’t trust it with the big things yet.

I was going through a time in my life that was difficult. A 12 year relationship was on the rocks. I was contemplating how I would support myself if my then-partner and I broke up, since all of the wealth and property in our union was his from a family inheritance. Despite well over a decade together we were not legally married and I had no legal, or in his eyes, no emotional claim to any of our resources if we were to part.

I was worried at that time with future survival issues, so one day I sat down and I wrote down “I want to manifest $100,000 in the next twelve months”. Now, I almost didn’t believe it was possible. The 12 month timeframe I set confirms this, since at that time in my life I thought “money takes time”. But I wrote it down, thought about it for a week or so, and then forgot it. I mean, I really forgot about it completely. The journal got tucked away and the idea faded as quickly from my mind.

Cut back to “reality”, my relationship continued to deteriorate and I continued to wonder how I would support myself easily, or certainly at a level anywhere near my current lifestyle if my relationship ended. A long story made short, my relationship did end after 6 months and I moved to another city for a time. Shockingly however, my ex, in a seemingly astonishing act of generosity, titled over the deed to a modest house that he owned and rented out. In all of our years together he had never shown such generosity, or such a willingness to part with his resources, much last something as significant as property.

Since we had formally lived in this modest home together, years before his massive inheritance, I did not wish to live there or keep the property. I proceeded to rent it out for another 4 months, until out of the blue the renter approached me saying he was interested in buying it. He hadn’t even known I had been contemplating selling it! We discussed things, and he let me know his full financial picture. Eventually we agreed to an amount and money exchanged hands. After lawyer and paperwork I was able to put into my bank account a little over $111,000. I found this to be an astonishing sum of money at that time to have at my singular disposal. Also, the numbers “111” have significance to me as deeply personal and lucky symbols, which was an additional bonus of delightful synchronicity. This money supported me for the next two years while I traveled and bettered my self and my life.

The LOA “Wow” moment came about a year after I had sold that house, and deposited that sum in my account; I was sorting through old papers and journals when I found my journal entry detailing my wish to receive 100k in 12 months time. It was dated in March of 2014.
My 111k windfall, and the final date of my surprise home sale was April 2015. I was blown away re-reading my brief journal entry requesting what was at the time an extraordinary sum in my eyes.

So after my journal entry for a vast monetary amount in one years time, I received that amount and then some, almost precisely 13 months later. The Universe took a bit longer than I’d asked but then again I got $11,000 more than I’d asked for too!

I’ve been a serious student of the law of attraction ever since. And I am profoundly grateful for all that I am, all that I have received and will receive. This is truly a magical reality we can inhabit if we choose to.
