I am a divorced mother of two beautiful girls, now living with a new partner and thought my life would just be bland. Things changed after I came across The Secret.

I was working a dead end job that I dreaded doing. I was financially barely hanging on, not having the storybook type romance in my life and suffering from depression after I was cheated on twice. What was it all coming to, I thought?

I found the law of attraction and I spoke to a friend about it. She told me to wish for something real. Something specific and detail was important. So, I wrote my thoughts down what I wanted out of a job and how happy I would like to be. A few weeks passed and I got a new job, only to realise that this was a mistake. I sat down and decided I want to make money doing the same amount of hard work but with greater rewards.

An idea popped up and I called a company to enquire about the requirements for a position I thought would provide me with the rewards I seeked. The Human Resources lady explained the requirements, of which I had none, but I got a number for the department head. I called and was amazed at how quickly I could arrange an interview, without a resume.

In my interview, I said “I want to sell myself to you, I want this job”. I was told after a long interview that I sold myself within the first 3 minutes.

After two days, I was offered the position. It has been a week and I have excelled in an industry that is very new to me and with no knowledge or background. I have surpassed all expectations, as well as my own.

Now all that is left to do is imagine and start living the rest of my life, the way I did this aspect of it.
