I was given the Secret as a Christmas gift for Christmas ‘08, already having that belief about ask and you shall receive. The Secret movie was able to confirm for me what I already knew, but through having the movie in my home and watching it on a regular basis I began to develop more insight into how much better I can make this work for myself and my family.

My husband and myself both carry a gratitude rock with us wherever we go and when things are difficult we gently remind ourselves just how lucky we are. We have a son with schizophrenia, and a little grandson with cerebral palsy so life can sometimes be very challenging. They are just so precious to us. My mantra of late has been, “I am a money magnet, money comes to me easily and effortlessly.” Last week I checked my bank balance to find an unexpected amount of $1700, an IRD refund from 2005. My husband said he could not believe it, and my answer to him was, “Oh yes we can.”
