I really believe because it does work. Here is my example.

Someone at work mentioned the book, ‘the Secret’ and I asked my husband to get me a copy for my birthday which was on 4th March.

The book came within a few days, I really did not know what to expect. I started reading the book and I was thrilled. I started to realise that in some way I have actually been using the Secret in my life to achieve the things that I wanted and have achieved so far.

I immediately started to apply the Secret. As a test I focused on money/salary increase. Over the last year, I was not given a pay rise. I am due for a pay review in August 2010, no guarantee that I would get an increase. To my surprise, when I arrived at work on Tuesday 16/3/2010 morning there was a letter on my desk confirming that as of the 31/3/2010 my salary will be increased by a £1,500 per month. A pay rise! I knew instantly that the Secret does work. I did not question why now or where it came from, I just gave gratitude and thanks.
